Updates to our school website
If you visit the Curriculum pages on our school website you will find newly updated information about what we teach here at Hunters Bar Infants, prepared by our subject lead teachers. This iinformation will complement the Weekly Summary sheets posted on to Seesaw each weekend.
* Triple I – Intent, Implication and Impact: Intent refers to what we teach and why we teach it. Implication proposes what it looks like in practice in our school and Impact lays out what the outcomes will be.
* Progression of Skills and Content: These show the order in which the content of each subject should be taught within our school and the specific skills needed at each stage, given in a logical order.
* Knowledge Organisers: A summary of the key facts, core vocabulary and essential knowledge that pupils need about a unit of work in curriculum subjects. These may be present as half termly units and/or specific topic areas, such as in Computing or PE. The Knowledge Organisers will be updated throughout the year as each half term’s information is added.
Please note that some aspects and/or order of the curriculum may, at times, differ to reflect the changing nature of school life and education.
