House System

Our School Houses:
Sheffield Sharks, Sheffield Steelers, and Sheffield Tigers

At our school, we believe in fostering a strong sense of community, teamwork, and belonging through our three vibrant houses: Sheffield Sharks, Sheffield Steelers, and Sheffield Tigers. Every child is a valued member of one of these houses, working together to achieve shared goals and celebrate success.

To support our commitment to pupil wellbeing, we combine restorative conversations—where children reflect on their actions, understand their impact, and develop positive solutions—with a balanced rewards system. 

Children earn Dojo points for demonstrating the 3Bs (Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe), along with our Learning Legends and Citizen Values. These points help children reach exciting milestones, such as House Points and Dojo Certificates, rewarding positive behaviour and effort.
When a house achieves its collective target, the entire school celebrates by allowing the winning house to choose a special reward, encouraging teamwork, responsibility, and a shared sense of achievement. 

To promote intrinsic motivation and protect pupil” wellbeing, individual point totals are kept private, helping children focus on their personal growth and contributions.

Together, our houses inspire children to work hard, support one another, and take pride in their achievements!
