Parents and carers are encouraged to become involved in the school community and to support the school in a variety of ways such as helping in the classroom or with other activities such as cookery, baking, gardening or helping on school visits or special events such as sports days. If you have a talent or interest that could be shared and enjoyed by everyone we would be very pleased to hear from you.
Throughout the school year parents are invited along to share in special assemblies – there are class showing assemblies, classroom open mornings where children showcase their work and a variety of performances.

In line with school policy the Governing Body will require regular school volunteers who work alone with children in school to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Application forms are available in school and there is no charge to volunteers for this DBS check.

In order to comply with the school’s Health and Safety Policy, all visitors to the school are asked to report to the main office where they can sign in on arrival and sign out on departure. Badges are issued so that all visitors can be clearly identified.
