HUNTER'S BAR INFANT SCHOOL

OFSTED REPORT

We are delighted that following a one day Ofsted inspection on 22-23 February 2023, school has been judged to be maintaining the good quality of education seen at the previous inspection.

The inspector said that “this is a school at the heart of its community” where “the headteacher and staff are highly regarded by parents and carers, who say that their children are treated with great respect and learn well.”

The report says that attending our school has several positive aspects:

The report goes on to say “additionally, the school demonstrates effective safeguarding measures. Staff receive regular training, understand their responsibilities, and are vigilant in keeping pupils safe. Safeguarding incidents are discussed, and thorough checks are conducted on adults working with pupils. Pupils also learn about various aspects of safety, such as road safety, online safety, and staying safe from car emissions with the ‘green wall’ protection.

Overall, the school is highly regarded by parents and carers, providing a caring and inclusive environment, high-quality teaching, and a well-rounded educational experience.

Ofsted invites parents and carers to share their views on Parent View. Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The short survey at http://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected. If you need help to use Parent View, please come into school and ask at reception but otherwise click on the Parent View logo to take part.
