HUNTERS BAR INFANT SCHOOL
Pupil Premium Expenditure
The government provides academies and schools with additional funding to help reduce inequalities and gaps in attainment between those students who are eligible for Pupil Premium funding. This includes children eligible for free school meals, children who are looked after and children whose parents are in the armed forces. The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 and is allocated to schools to work with pupils who have registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years (known as ‘Ever 6 FSM) The academy can choose how it spends its allocation according to the needs of the individual pupils. It is a requirement that a report is produced annually and placed on the website. The academy is held accountable for the spending.
