Dear Parents and Carers
We have been informed by the Local Authority that all schools who are on half term holiday at the time of the bank holiday to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Friday, 3 June 2022 are required to organise an additional day off school in term time for staff and children. This is so that they do not miss out on this additional statutory bank holiday.
We have agreed, along with many other local schools, to have Monday, 6 June 2022 as our additional day of school closure and wanted to let you know with as much notice as possible. Therefore, the children will break up for the May half term holiday on Friday, 27 May 2022 and will now return to school on Tuesday, 7 June 2022.
